Machine down? (000) 000-0000
DDPManufacturing Services

We are not a repair shop. That is the point.

DDP Manufacturing Services is a trusted partner between manufacturers and proven repair specialists. Thirty years of relationships across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois mean the job goes to the facility that has actually rebuilt your make and model before — and someone owns it from pickup to run-off.

Why that matters when something breaks

Every repair shop is honest about what it can do and optimistic about the rest. When you call a facility directly, you are asking a business whether it wants your work. The answer is almost always yes.

The problem is that spindle rebuilds are not interchangeable. A shop that is excellent on motorized spindles may have rebuilt exactly two of your gear-driven heads. A ball screw house that grinds beautifully may not have the print for your machine. The difference does not show up in the quote — it shows up eight months later when the unit is back on the bench.

Knowing which shop is genuinely right for a given make, model, and failure is not something you can look up. It comes from three decades of watching which repairs held and which came back. That knowledge is what DDP sells.

It also means we have no reason to talk you into a rebuild. If the honest answer is replacement, or that you can run it until the next scheduled shutdown, that is what you will hear.

How a job runs

The same six steps every time, so you always know where the part is and what happens next.

  1. STEP 01

    Call the line

Day, night, or weekend. Describe the failure and the machine, and we scope the job on the phone.

  2. STEP 02

    Placed with the right shop

Matched to the facility that has actually rebuilt your make and model before — not whoever is closest.

  3. STEP 03

    Teardown and inspection

Documented findings and photos. You approve the quote before any work begins.

  4. STEP 04

    OEM-equivalent rebuild

Precision grinding, bearing packs, rewinds, and machining to original print specification.

  5. STEP 05

    Test and balance

Dynamic balancing, closed-loop run-off, surge and hi-pot — proven before it ships back.

  6. STEP 06

    Return and report

Delivered on schedule with a full inspection and test report for your maintenance file.

Downtime doesn't wait for business hours.

Send the make, model, and what it's doing — or call the emergency line and talk it through. We'll tell you whether it's a rebuild, a replacement, or something you can run until the next shutdown.
